Scheduling
The season, without the spreadsheet that runs it.
Book the gym time, build the games, publish by division, collect the scores and let the standings and the ladder take care of themselves. The physical rules are enforced by the database, so a clash is refused before anyone is told about it.
What the scheduler gets.
- Venues and booked timeEvery gym, rink or field, every court or sheet, and the windows you actually hold. A game can only live inside a booking.
- Clash checksOne game per court, per team and per official at a time, across every season that is still running.
- Publish by divisionBuild in draft, publish when it is right. Coaches, officials and families only see what is published.
- ScoresEither side enters it. When they disagree, neither shows until a scheduler settles it with a reason.
- Standings and laddersPoints tables with your tiebreakers, an Elo style ladder for tiering and a power ranking export.
- BracketsSeeds freeze when the ladder is declared final, so nobody reseeds a bracket after the fact.
- HandoffsFacilities books, the scheduler builds, the assignor assigns. Each hears only when it is their turn.
A refusal is a feature.
Try to put a game on Court 2 at 9:30 when Court 2 is not booked until 10. Cleared says no, and says why.
Every association has a story about two teams warming up on the same court. That story ends when the system will not save it.
Questions.
Can we import an existing schedule?
Yes. A spreadsheet or a sync from your registration platform loads games as they are, and Cleared checks them for clashes on the way in.
Does it handle tiering and rankings?
Yes. Standings use your points and tiebreak rules. A ladder ranks teams by results and margin so you can re tier mid season with evidence instead of complaints.
What about tournaments?
Brackets seed from the final ladder and lock. Tournament check in can be added as a custom build on the same credential.
